Receive much greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.It's with great delight to inform you about the 3rd Annual Youth Camp which was held at Namilama Secondary school in Pongola Quarterly Meeting starting from 6th - 10th April,2005. Namilama Secondary School is the Republic of Kenya, Western province in Bungoma District, situated along Bungoma Chwele road, 3km South of Musesse shopping Centre.

"Repent" was the theme quoted from the book of Joel 2:13.

The Camp was officially opened by the presiding Clerk of Chwele Young Friends who thanked the previous and the present host Quarterly Meetings of the Camp and acknowledged God for His Grace and Mercy for the delegates.He also encouraged Leaders to follow the footsteps of Christ Jesus.

The theme exploration was done by brother Job Wanjala from Musokho Quarterly Meeting.He purposed the delegates to stop doing the old and do what is new and acceptable before the Lord, viewing sin as an evil issue.He called upon the delegates to repent for the preparation of the day of the Lord.Finally, he called upon the Leaders and pastors to stand in the gap to repent on behalf of the whole church of christ.

The topics covered in total were ten, which included stress management, HIV, Quaker Faith in the 21st Centuary, Project planning and Implementation, The Grace, end time stories, Victorious living, church leadership and ushering, courtship and marriage.Other activities were, Video shows, Group discussions, games and Choir competition.

The registered delegates were 364, but the daily attendance varied from 600 - 700 people.On the last day the total attendance was approximately 1000. compared to the last year' s Camp, the number is high.

The Camp has been a great blessing to the delegates and the community around for the theme was captivating and many accepted Jesus as their Lord and personal saviour.

Our vision is to enrich people spiritually and to win more souls to Christ Jesus.
