Quaker Hospitals in Africa

  • Friends Lugulu Mission Hospital: A 110-bed hospital in Western Kenya providing services to in-patients, outpatients as well as mobile services.   • Kaimosi Friends Hospital: Established in Western Kenya in 1915 during the initial stages of missionary work in Africa. It was one of the best hospitals in East Africa. Is now undergoing restructuring under the new management of Friends United Meeting.
  • Sabatia Eye Hospital: One of the top eye specialist hospitals in East Africa. Is located in Western Kenya and is under the care of Vokoli Yearly Meeting. Conducts frequent eye camps in Southern Sudan.
