  • Samburu Friends Mission: Although feeding peoples' spirits is the ultimate goal of the Samburu mission in central Kenya, it also ministers to their day-to-day needs. In addition to education and worship, the mission provides the services of a veterinarian to care for the cattle of this cattle-herding people. Plans are under way to build a centre in the nearby town of Maralal where people could meet for school, worship, other gatherings, and to be used for a guest house.
